About Melissa

Melissa provides strategic federal government relations and grants services to a diverse set of clients over a wide range of issue areas, including environment and sustainability, infrastructure, economic development, education, health care, cultural preservation, agriculture and food security, broadband, and others. Prior to becoming a partner at Skog Rasmussen LLC, she served as a senior legislative and press staffer in the U.S. House and Senate, conducted strategic federal relations for a national youth-focused nonprofit, and led strategic government relations and grants initiatives for a consulting firm based in Washington, DC. She graduated from the Yale School of Management with an MBA and from Cornell University with a BS degree.
