About Claire
Claire brings 14 years of work experience in the energy and environmental space to Hua Nani Partners. Prior to joining HNP, Claire was a Director at Gridworks, a non-profit facilitation and consulting organization focused on. She led diverse convenings and drafted publications on topics related to electric resiliency, neighborhood-scale building electrification, carbon accounting, gas system decommissioning, microgirds in Hawai‘i, and Hawai‘i’s first Integrated Resource Plan for Hawai‘i Gas. Prior to Gridworks, Claire served in a variety of roles at Pacific Gas and Electric, including manager of the Distributed Generation Enabled Microgrids and lead for the company’s long-term gas planning and building electrification strategy. Claire also has experience working at the Sacramento Municipal Utility District, Johnson and Johnson, as well as the California Environmental Protection Agency where she was Special Assistant to the Secretary.
