About Melissa

Melissa brings 20 years of business design, strategy, and financial management experience in the climate and renewable energy space to Hua Nani Partners. As Director of Financial Operations, she oversees business accounting, financial forecasting, strategy, and analytics.

Prior to joining Hua Nani Partners, Melissa co-founded an award-winning worker-cooperative business in Berkeley, California. Melissa has supported many women-owned businesses, cooperative businesses, and innovative companies with her expertise in financial operations, analysis, and strategic growth.

Melissa holds a BA from UC Berkeley in Peace and Conflict Studies. She lives in Arcata, California with her family and enjoys crafting, biking, live music, and spending time outside with friends, on the wild North coast of California.
